Only AAA and Majors players need to be evaluated. Evaluations assist our managers in creating balanced and competitive teams each year. The BRHLL Player Agents and Vice Presidents oversee the evaluations and the draft, but the managers choose their own teams. Every registered player will make a team!

Gear to bring: mitt, bat, helmet, tennis shoes (no cleats on the gym floor!). The league will have some bats and helmets to share if needed.

What to expect: Your child will check in at a table near the gym entrance and be directed to the appropriate area for AAA or Majors. Players will rotate through brief stations performing different drills, including batting, fielding, pitching, and running.

Evaluations are mandatory for AAA & Majors Baseball in the St. Joan of Arc School Gym Saturday, February 24th. Schedule will be coming soon.

We always try to be as efficient as possible. Please do your best to attend during your assigned time slot. However, if that’s not possible, a small window for evaluations will be held on Sunday 2/25 at SJOA. If you cannot make it to either day, please email [email protected]. 

We encourage all BRHLL parents to volunteer during evaluations to ensure we run as smoothly as possible. A link for volunteer signup will come soon.

Minors division players: you will get an email from your assigned coach in March after teams are created. No need to attend evaluations.

Location: St. Joan of Arc Gym, 500 E. 42nd Street. Parking lot and entrance is off Park Ave.

Evaluations are MANDATORY for anyone wanting to play in AAA or Majors. If your daughter is registered to play in one of these divisions, you must sign up for the eval for your daughter's division (or both evals if you have an AAA girl wanting to play up in Majors or a Majors girl wanting to play down in AAA). If you have a Minors girl who is wanting to play up in AAA - then she must come to AAA evals. There are no guarantees on playing up or down as we have to ensure the safety of all players and also keep teams balanced.
